*These custom pretty little pieces are going to look sooo cute on an adorable little gal. :)

At the beginning of this month, I commited to a photo a day challenge hosted by fat mum slim. I was really excited because this would be the first where I would actually complete the whole challenge via instagram, every day...or so I thought!
About a week ago, my dearest son was playing with my phone (nothing new-that phone has gone through all sorts of torture). When I got it back, it was covered-COVERED in drool! I started wiping it all away and not worrying much because it has certainly happened before. What I didn't realize was that since he's getting his molars in and drooling profusely, that drool somehow seeped behind my phone cover and into the screen of my phone rendering it helpless and eventually dead! Since my upgrade isn't until April, I had to activate my old phone which of course does't get Instagram and if I want to send photos to my computer, it becomes a pain in the butt because I have to hook it up to the computer and all that jazz. Long story short-->baby drool=dead phone=no instagram=no completed challege! I did however make it about half way through the month so here's what I captured:
The Tea Party Collection is now in the shop! These petite beauties are inspired by the fun dress up moments that little girls get into with mommy's heels, a big floppy hat and with pinkies up, sip from a small tea cup. Tea parties are always such a lovely occasion and this collection of hair clips reflect just that! They are created with lace, pearls, ruffles, sparkle and LOTS of love! Perfect for the {sweetest} little girls!
I was asked a few questions from Luisa over at LaBelleMadeleine which consisted of some things that most of you may not know from my blog. I shared a bit about myself including where I get my inspiration, my dreams and a funny piece of info (or at least my husband thinks it's funny). :) Oh! You can also win a blooming headband from my shop-perfect for Valentine's Day!
These 3 dainty rosette necklaces are on sale for $7 right now (originally $11 in the shop)! You choose the colors! :) In order to get these at the special price, go to my Facebook page, "like" it and then comment on the post with your Paypal email address. There are only a few left!
A couple of night ago, I started finally taking down some of the winter/holiday decor and adding touches of Valentine's Day detail. :) {Here's just one little preview.} I chalked up this design which is inspired from a free printable over at Simply Klassic!
There are so many weddings in 2013! It can be so much fun planning for your wedding day and getting all of the details together. When I was planning my wedding back in 2010, I would be on the internet for hours looking at different ideas and finding any advice I can. There are thousands of pages with advice from wedding dresses, cake flavors, flowers that are in season-to-coordination, timelines and gifts to give to the bridesmaids. Most of all of this information can be overwhelming and tedious to go through and pick and choose what you want to incorporate.
Today though, I want to share an idea that EVERY bride should take into consideration.
A few days ago, I completed some hair pieces for two {sweet} little girls and their tea party birthday. I used tulle, lace, pearls, added some sparkle and ruffles which is quite perfect for a new "Tea Party Collection."
New {PRETTIES for your event} are available in the shop! These lips and mustache photo props are the newest to arrive! They are created with felt, cardstock backing and attached to a 12" wooden dowel.
A couple nights ago, I had a spontaneous idea to create a mini photoshoot inspired by Valentine's Day! (You can read a little bit more about the day of the shoot right here.) Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that you either love or hate. I just so happen love it, not only because my husband is super sweet but also because the Valentine decor is always so pretty and soo cute! It's hard to go by all of the red, pink, candy, sparkles and hearts in the stores and not want to decorate the whole house and throw a super girly party. Please tell me I'm not alone on that one! lol For this mini inspired photoshoot, I used a colorful palette of aqua, pink, white and gold with hints of sparkle. I stayed up the night before to put all the little details together such as the little "favors" of adorable heart pins made of felt and the lacy scalloped garland which was made using paper doilies from the dollar store. These are just some ideas that are easy to do and don't cost a whole lot.
There are a few items featured that will be in the shop soon, (if they aren't already) so head on over to Love Sparkle Pretty and see what's new!
