Creative Tea Time 2 Recap {MAJOR Pretty Overload}

A few months ago, I attended the first Creative Tea Time with my friend Tara of Laila's Charming Pieces. Little did we know, this event would turn into something so much more than just a "craft party" as we attended the second CTT event this past weekend.

This inspiring and creative occasion is hosted by three AMAZING and talented ladies, Meagan of Fairly Fabulous, Tracy of Creme De La Gems and LeAnn of Lele's Little Soiree & Pure Photography by LeAnn. They seriously put their whole hearts and diligent hands into Creative Tea Time and it certainly exudes throughout the glorious details, DELICIOUS food (made by LeAnn's momma), exciting craft options and the enchanting ambiance.

This time around, CTT was split up into 2 days to accompany the great response of attendees. Getting to know so many ladies behind the social media accounts and handmade shops has truly been a blessing and I am so thankful to have met each of them.

It was a beautiful day of friendship, creativity and crazy spoiling by all of the fantastic sponsors! Here is a glimpse of Creative Tea Time 2.

CAUTION: Be prepared to get hit in the face by some MAJOR pretty details!!!!

{enjoy}

Thank you again LeAnn, Meagan and Tracy from the bottom of my heart!! Your incredible hard work did not go unnoticed.
So excited for the next event!

{Creative Tea Time} Peek at Floral Crown Giveaway

It's been a whirlwind of craziness lately! I've been so busy in and outside of the craft room. I'm certainly not complaining though because it's all been really good. I've had meetings with brides for coordinating their 2014 weddings, cranking out floral crowns for the new line and the photo shoot this Friday (received 60+ model applicants in one day!!), birthday celebrations, family reunion, house work, yard work, running around with baby love, working on shop orders and everything in between.

Today though, I'm giving you a preview of some giveaway pretties I just shipped out for Creative Tea Time next weekend. Remember that uber pretty and super fun craft event I attended back in September? Well, I'm going back for round 2 this Saturday! So excited to sip tea, eat YUMMY food and work on some fun crafts with inspiring ladies once again!

This is my contribution for another lovely day.

I created 2 floral crowns to giveaway (one for Saturday and one for Sunday) to 2 lucky ladies. I also finished a total of 71 business card sets with promo codes, glitter and lace.

Will you be there? If so, come and say hello! I'd love to meet you!

A little home makeover

A few days ago, I went a little crazy with redecorating our home. Most of this creative rush was brought on by the Creative Tea Time event I went to this past weekend. While I was there, I made a few pieces that had to be showcased in our home so how. Thus, the small home makeover.

I created the "choose joy" wooden plank at CTT. It was a bit larger but the top piece of it had broken off which is why the letters don't look very centered. I still love it anyway!

The "my cup runneth over" print was in our swag bags donated by the ever so talented Rebecca of A Sweet Little Note.

I still have to paint the book shelf. Not sure what color yet...

This frame used to be black and have chalkboard painted glass inside. Well, the glass broke and I painted the frame the same color as our refurbished coffee table. I love it! I'm not too sure what I'm going to put inside the frame just yet. Antlers? The letter L? An old book?

I received the "Happy Days" banner from my friend Aurora of Unconventionally Vilchis. Cute right? Sorta matches the DIY home banner I recently posted.

These shelves used to be filled with modern teacups and random decor. I took all of that down and added the letters "EAT" which I spray painted gold, my succulent terrarium I made at CTT and added the cutest mason jars ever created by Beach Blues.

I'm thinking of adding a collection of vintage forks spoons and knives to each jar??
I also want to paint the shelves but since there is some black decor in the kitchen...I'm not too sure yet.

I took the large frame above our mantel (which used to be a bright teal frame) and painted it ivory with gold trim. I'm going to distress it a bit so you can see the details in this pretty frame a little bit better. I also painted the inside of the frame with chalkboard paint. Since my other chalkboard decor broke, I needed a new one.

I love the clean look of all of this. Makes me look forward to the cold months so I can light some candles (see the pumpkin spice one on the mantel?!) and cozy up on the couch with several knitted blankets!

I'm still in the middle of  repainting things and decorating which is a little strange, I think, since we should be moving soon (hopefully). I love the ambiance of a newly re-decorated home though. Makes the home feel refreshed. I think our bedroom will be next!

Have you re-decorated recently? Even just for the change of seasons?

Creative Tea Time Recap {PRETTY Photo Overload}

This past Saturday, I had the great pleasure to attend Creative Tea Time, an event in Dana Point, Ca filled with endless creativity, splendid sips of tea, sweet conversations with beautiful ladies and crafting galore!

Meagan from Fairly Fabulous, LeAnn from Lele's Little Soiree and Tracy from Creme De La Gems, put their amazing talent and creativity together to create this gorgeous and fun day for approximately 40 women to enjoy. Not only did they make this event super successful but the sponsors REALLY BLESSED each and every attendee with swag that included mounds of amazing-ness and beautiful detail. You will see what I mean in a photo below.

We also took home at least 6 different craft projects that each of us made during this event. My projects included, a stamped spoon, a small hot air balloon, a mason jar winter globe, hoop art, a stamped wood plank and a succulent terrarium. I didn't think I even had it in me to create 6 different crafts in one day but I did!! I already used them within my home decor as well so I will be posting those photos soon.
Until then, enjoy this little peek of the day. (Warning: photo OVERLOAD)
Natalie of Take the Cannoli won a leather tassel necklace and bracelet set from the shop in one of the giveaways that was presented. She is the sweetest!

I am so thankful for each an every one of these ladies! Meagan, LeAnn and Tracy, THANK YOU so much for creating a beautiful crafting wonderland for all of us to enjoy and for putting everything together. The details were spendid and just PERFECT-the entire day was PERFECT! I cannot say thank you enough! Ashley, thank you for all of your help and work that you put into this day. Your hilarious personality was the topping on the cake. LeAnn and Ashley's mom, you are a ROCKSTAR! You worked in that kitchen like a super chef and created DELICIOUS foods and LOTS of it! This event wouldn't be the same without you. THANK YOU.
Last but certainly not least, Tara, thank you for coming to this event with me and going on the super early road trip with me. You are one of my best friends and this day was even better because you were there. :)
Check these ladies out: Meagan from Fairly Fabulous, Tara from Laila's Charming Pieces, LeAnn from Lele's Little Soiree and Tracy from Creme De La Gems

After all of the crafting and mingling, several of us ladies who attended Creative Tea Time, drove to San Clemente to visit some pretty shops (where I got one of my favorite maxi dresses) and had a yummy dinner at a mexican restaurant near the ocean.
It was such a great night to end such a wonderful day!
