It's funny, although I announced that was I "back from my break" in my last post, my blog has not seen a single new post since then! {P.S. Thank you so much for your guys' love & support too! Whether it was a beautiful comment you sent me, an email, phone call, or just simply following and reading my posts--I really appreciate it!} Sorry for such quiet time around here... I really have been quite the busy little lady outside of the bloggy world! I wanted to share what I have created recently and what I am still working on (although not every piece will be shown). I made this custom boutonniere for a wedding in Canada this past week. The bride contacted me with a unique design and I put my own little creativity into it and {TADA}! It's certainly not like any other design I have made before. Love it!
I made this matching set for my good friend and her little girl on the way. It's a momma flower and a baby headband made from pink chiffon fabric, black marabou feathers, and black glass beads.
This is a custom bridal piece I am working on for a wedding in Australia. I added a bit of detail to match the brides dress with handsewn beads, lace, satin, chiffon, crystals and feathers. When the piece is completely done, I will post more about it! It is a bit of a different version of "Perfect Elegance" which is available here in the shop!
This is a custom headband made for a 3 year old flower girl in a wedding coming up this weekend. It turned out so stinkin' cute with light pink peony petals, champagne and ivory lace, pearl detail, a crystal brooch, and ivory stretch lace for the headband.
I sent out this dainty rosette necklace to my blog giveaway winner--Desirae from Going with the flow. :) 
I made this custom dainty rosette necklace for a wonderful customer in Germany. She asked for red rosettes with turquiose beads and I made just that! You can purchase your own rosette necklace here in the shop. :)
I made this custom wedding hairpiece to match a brides wedding dress sash with a polka dot guinea feathers and chiffon. I love the layers of the light and airy petals!
I also sent out another "Tiffany" hairpiece which is one of the "original" pieces from Love Sparkle Pretty.
As you can tell, It may look like I was still on a break but my poor blog has been the only one to suffer inactivity. On top of these pieces (I also have a few more I am working on), I just started summer school this week!DUN-DUN-DUUUNNNNNN 
I'm hoping that my Nursing Pharmacology class will still allow me somewhat of a normal summer. We shall see about that though...so far, not looking like it. In a positive light, I have a family reunion to attend this weekend! :) Got to love those right? :) I'm actually quite excited! I wonder how many "crazy" stories there will be?!?! {Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend!}
I have been so busy lately with finals for my nursing assessment class and some new orders...as well as a couple trips to the mountains with the husband and little guy for some fresh air. :)
I wanted to share a couple of the newest projects I have completed to sort of "catch myself up."
First, I finished a custom order for 6 boutonnieres for a lovely bride-to-be the other day and I am so happy with them! The color palette is so pretty and she sent me the crystal buttons to add to them! Aren't they pretty? 
The bride-to-be even suggested that I add these to the shop. What do you think? :D Also, I received an order for a flower hairpiece for a prom in North Carolina. This sweet girl sent me a message with a photo of her dress she will be wearing and wanted the "Tiffany Hairpiece" with bits of aqua mixed into it to match her dress. Read the post about it here.
Well, she sent me a couple photos she took before she went to the prom and I wanted to share them. :) Whenever someone sends me photos of what I created for them, it makes me SUPER excited--just so you know! ::wink winkk::
Another piece I just recently finished was a flower hairpiece for my sister-in-law. It was her birthday and she hinted that she wanted a brown flower hairpiece so I made her just what she "hinted." lol 
I used brown chiffon fabric for the petals, sewed 3 pearls to the center, and added 3 different brown feathers. I think it came out so cute and I even added it to the Love Sparkle Pretty Shop! :) Want different colors? I have shipped to all over the world but I received my first order from France the other day. The bride-to-be ordered a "Rustic-Inspired Boutonniere" and I was so excited because I have always wanted to visit France! I even wrote a bit of french (for the first time) in her thank you card. :) Aurevoir little boutonniere! Not only have I been making some new items, I have also been organizing a bit...just a bit though! The other night, I sat down on the floor in my craft room and just started sorting some of my feathers--actually, HUNDREDS of my feathers (which I still have THOUSANDS left to organize :-/). My husband also came in and helped me...what a great guy right? :) Here's a photo of my "feather rainbow" 
& a weee-bit of organzing in my little "cubby holes." 
Although I had lots of creating to do, I took a couple breaks with the husband, our little man, and a couple good friends to Crestline and a trip to Big Bear Lake. We enjoyed God's beautiful creations and just relaxed! Here are a couple photos from each trip. :) From Crestline on our "Heart Rock" hike.

I recentently created small flower hairpieces for a friend. She asked for smaller ones so that when she gives them as gifts, her friends can wear them on a daily basis. Since I knew they were all nursing students too, our scrubs are {maroon} and I figured, why not add a bit of {maroon} to each one to match our scrubs? Makes sense since we are wearing them every week! So, that's what I did! :)
These little beauties were created with ranuncula petals, hydrangea petals, cherry blossom as well as little daisy petals.
Each flower had a touch of {sparkle} added with a rhinestone for the center and glitter leaves. So cute & with each one about 2-2.5" around, so petite! :)
These can also be created on elastic headbands for little girls or leave them as is--on an alligator clip!

Yesterday was my last day of working as a grocery clerk! I had been with the company for about 5 years and instead of enjoying my last 8hr. shift, I woke up REALLY sick and had to go to work that way...unable to leave early. :( I could barely even hold myself up and by the time I was FINALLY off, I was able to take my temperature--knowing I had a fever--the thermometer said 101.5 F :(
It's weird to be happy about being unemployed but with a supportive husband, I am able to focus on being a mommy, crafter, and nursing student--there's hardly any "free" time even without a job.
Here are some projects that I recently finished and now will have more time to finish up some more orders :)
{This is a fully custom bridal piece that I created with royal purple detail & a half birdcage veil.}
{These are boutonnieres that I created for a bride in Santa Maria. I used different purple feathers for the groom and groomsmen as well as purple vintage buttons.}
{This is a piece for a nautical themed wedding in Florida. It's my "Ahoy Darling" creation with light pink feathers instead of the traditional red. I also used antique-inspired lace within the ivory flower.}
{I also created another one of these vintage-inspired boutonnieres for a bride-to-be in Sierra Madre, Ca :) These boutonieres seem to be very popular!}
{& last but not least for my recent Etsy.com orders, I created 2 of these peacock fascinators for 2 bridesmaids in Australia :)}
It's always such a pleasure working with nice people and creating pieces that they will love as well! You may have noticed that my Etsy shop is dwindling down. This is because I will be adding new items to the shop very soon! :)
I'm excited about this!

As for the rest of the day, I am drinking some hot tea to soothe my throat and hopefully working on some custom orders soon when I feel much better.

Ok, I must admit, I used to hate the color of mustard yellow but for the past couple of months, I have seen this color pop up everywhere and I have fallen in love with it! :) I even created a hairpiece inspired by this color...(which is available HERE)
