What I am loving this beautiful Monday morning.
After about 2 and a half weeks of "shop vacation" due to our move, Love Sparkle Pretty is now officially REOPEN!
There are Black Friday Sales going on and there are so many new items making their debut along with others that will be added in a couple of days!
Here are just a few new items:
I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the very talented Marilyn of Marilyn Duvall Photography out in Texas. I sent her a couple of my bridal caps including a brand new one that will be available in the shop come December!
She worked with another photographer, Catherine who modeled beautifully as a bride. Although it ended up raining after Marilyn started shooting, the photos still came out really pretty. That's the thing about photo shoots, you never know what weather you're going to get once you step outside and start snapping away (like that time I found myself in a photo shoot in the middle of a storm)! It's part of the adventures of shoots though.
Here are some of the photos captured by Marilyn featuring Love Sparkle Pretty bridal pieces.
Recently....
As you may have noticed, I have been blogging less to spend more time with the family and really "being" with my son more rather than just "present." As a stay at home mom, I have the power to really instill qualities and teachings in my son if I just give my time. He needs my time more than anything else and I am learning this.
I am so used to having a long "to-do" list (I still have one but it has been shortened) and being so busy to get things done. I want to breathe and I feel like I'm being renewed as I go through the Mission of Motherhood study with the women's bible study Thursday mornings. The first time I came to this study, I was so overwhelmed and had an emotional down because of (what I thought) was my son's overbearing behavior while we were there. (If you have a strong-willed child, you may know exactly what I mean!) What I have come to realize was it wasn't my son, but my patience and my attitude that needed to change.
If you are a momma, this book is an AMAZING read and will help with the struggles, the teachings, the grace, finding so much to be thankful for and the soul-shifts that may need to take place within ourselves.
This past Saturday, I had the great opportunity to create some headpieces for a styled photo shoot with Kayla V Photography. She always takes amazing photos and creates such a beautiful and unique vision through her work.
For this nature/light-inspired photo shoot, the gorgeous (and SUPER talented) Megan Fay modeled my hairpieces as well as makeup by CheeksMakeup, hair styling by Katey-Bug Brown and clothing/styling by Tyler Freund.
