New Vintage Inspired Bridal Pieces from Love Sparkle Pretty

I have a few new bridal pieces coming to the shop! One just posted this morning! I have created these new little treasures a few weeks back and have just got around to getting them ready for a bride's special day. The beautiful one of a kind hair piece that arrived to the shop this morning was created with vintage buttons, ivory chiffon, ivory satin, and antique-inspired lace.
I absolutely love this one!
For more of the details and to purchase it from my shop, go here.

Others that will be added very soon (one more will be added by the end of the day) include this pretty flower piece that is created with ivory chiffon, ivory rose petals, skeleton leaves, pieces of antique lace doilies that were handcut and shaped into petals, and a crystal button for the center.

This veil is a GORGEOUS double layered birdcage veil made with french veiling, tulle, and stunning lace and pearl beaded detail!

The last is a very versatile piece that can be worn a few different ways in the hair. It is made with tulle and beautiful silver and ivory beaded detail.

{OOAK Bridal Necklace}--Available :)

Yesterday, I spent all day creating a piece that I am SO EXCITED about!
I woke up with a lot of inspiration for a bridal piece and just went with it!
I created this OOAK {ONE of a kind} bridal bib necklace:D
It is made with:
*several VINTAGE buttons
*several different pearls (most are VINTAGE too)
*Ivory chiffon
*Ivory/champagne silk
*Ivory lace with pearl beading
*Ivory ribbon
*Antique brass clasp & rings for adornment (a dainty little pearl hangs at the end of rings)
*Ivory & Champagne antique-inspired lace
*Ivory felt for backing
*Ivory thread
*& most importantly LOTS of LOVE!
Everything is handcut, shaped, and sewn together very carefully by {yours truely}. I started by creating different fabric "rosettes" & "poppies" and sewing them to an Ivory/Champagne antique-inspired lace. After that, everything started falling into place with all the rest of the very intricate details.

Here are some more photos of some close ups:
I sewed ivory felt to the back of everything when I was just about done so it could keep its shape a bit better.
For the clasp, I used an antique brass lobster clasp and rings with a dainty pearl to hang at the end.
Want this OOAK bridal piece before it's gone?
It's available right here in my
Love Sparkle Pretty Shop!
I'm thinking about creating some less dramatic necklaces for bridesmaids or even for everyday use. What do you think?

LOTS of Fabric {Flower} Garland & Corsages!!

I'm going to be an auntie in April!!
For my soon-to-be niece's baby shower, her mommy & I got to work on some much needed decorations and favors for the "Baby is Blooming" baby shower next month.
For this theme, there will be lots of color and flowers! We came up with an idea to create 2 garlands made up of fabric flowers and for the favors, give out fabric flower corsages! {So cute}
The favors are an inspiration from this photo:

We started off going to get a bunch of different fabrics in lots of colors as well as different buttons (we also used some vintage buttons that have been saved). Afterwards, we (mommy-to-be, a friend of ours (another mommy-to-be), & I) gathered around on my living room floor and started cutting, folding, shaping, & gluing! Here's what we came up with!
We made 63 of these little beauties!
10 for each garland (2 garlands) & 43 flower corsages.

Although, it took us all day (with the help of some pizza, wings, smoothies, & pasta) they came out so cute & we are very happy with them!
:D
Next on the list,
LOTS and LOTS of tissue pom poms! :)

Fabric corsage flower pins

I have been working on corsage flower pins for 2 weddings these past couple weeks. One wedding is in Mississippi and I am creating the 5 corsage pins using navy blue and white leaf print cotton for the flower petals, green floral cotton for the leaves, and gray sterling buttons for the centers :)

The other 5 corsage pins that I'm in the middle of finishing up are for a wedding in Canada. I am using burlap fabric for the large outer petals, french lace for the inner petals, gold shimmer muslin for the leaves, and different wooden buttons for the centers.
I am just about done with these projects and will be onto new ones very soon! :D {Have a beautiful day}
