It's officially summer time as of yesterday. It isn't my favorite season but living in the desert in southern Cali probably has something to do with that.
Today though, I am enjoying the warm weather with some ice cold cucumber water, a new mani and a few rays from the sun.

It's been a while since I've done Mani Monday which is probably because I have a difficult time trying to keep them "smudge-free" with a 1 1/2 year old. None the less, I successfully painted my little tips and I had fun doing it.
Since it's Spring time, I wanted a pop of color and pink is one of my go-to shades of polish. I wanted to play with 3 different shades so I chose a light pink, a coral and a hot pink.
I call this combo {Berry Sorbet}.

(excuse the ugly cuticles. lol)

I used Feeling Great and Easy Going both in Sinful Colors. I also used a Wet N' Wild shade called Tropicalia.

I know the trend with painting the ring finger a different color than the rest is really big right now but I put a little extra spin on it and used 3 different shades instead of two. I really like how it turned out too! This just may be my new signature style when it comes to my finger tips. :)

Last week, some friends and family of mine drove to La Cresta to visit my aunt and have some relaxing time....& that we did! :) While there, we had some lunch, layed out by the pool, painted our nails, layed out on the couch, watched some T.V., ate some cupcakes, read some magazines, & just vegged. It was a good day! :) Once I saw this awesome color changing polish that my aunt had, I HAD to try it! I swear it's magic! lol While inside, it's a glittery gold color & while outside, it turnes to a sparkley red/pink color.  Cool right?

It's from Del Sol & she said that she purchased it from Rite Aid (I will be on the hunt for it.)  {Relaxing by the pool--in the sun} & speaking of relaxing, the babes were passed out! {Cousins-Emily & Levi} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  What are your favorite ways to relax this summer? :)

Today, I used Wet n Wild nail polish for my manicure. They have super cute new colors & the polish is super affordable! I just went into Walgreen's and they were buy 2 get 1 FREE! Can't beat that! :)

I love the combination of these polishes because they remind me of a mermaid and seeing how the first day of Summer was just a couple days ago, it seemed pretty appropriate.

Today is Self Portrait Saturday & originally, I wasn't going to even post today seeing how I have LOTS to do but somehow in the middle of studying, I found myself painting my nails and then posing with a teacup...YES! A darn teacup! ::sigh:: I DON'T KNOW!  Anywho, here it is, my self portraits for the day & my "Mani Monday"...a little early. :)

 Dana from Wonder Forest said that there was no theme for today's post but if we wanted to do "something white" for the theme, well then it was our choice...hence a WHITE tea cup! {GENIUS--I know!} ::total sarcasm::   


I used "Feeling Great" by SinfulColors Professional nail polish
and added some pretty spring fabric to my "ring fingers."
It's very "cheery" I must say :)

Today is {Mani Monday} & this is my first time painting my nails since having my son about 5 months ago! Having a little guy makes it MUCH harder to actually paint my nails and if I could, getting them to dry is a whole other dilemma! lol Somehow though, I was able to finally get my nails painted...& WITH my son at home! I had to take couple a "breaks"...but call me super mom I guess. :D The polish I used was Rimmel's Lasting Finish PRO in StilettoRedI love the classic red polish so it was an easy "go-to" for me. This polish does last for a long time too and it drys FAST! {Perfect} for a mom on the go! I also added red rhinestones that I purchased at Joann's for $2.49 for 200 pieces. Pretty decent--I think. I used E-6000 to glue them onto my nail...maybe not the best because this crafting glue is not for the body but it was either that or hot glue...so I made it work! Haha
